NEWS

From The Editor

Welcome to the VFW News from the Department of New Mexico. The Newsletter is on-line only and is published 3 times a year, September, December, and May. This is the official publication of the Department of New Mexico Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary. All advertising, articles, photos and current news items will be provided by the Department VFW and New Mexico VFW Posts and Auxiliaries. Any outside advertisements or news articles will be approved by the Department Communications Officer before publishing.

I am proud to serve as Editor along with Betty Decker as the Assistant Editor.

We are committed to providing accurate, timely and relevant information to our readers and members that they can use in their everyday lives while offering unique perspectives on challenges faced by veterans and their families.

A media kit is available for presentation to all potential advertisers. Participation by all Posts, Auxiliaries, and Officers is essential in providing advertising, articles, photos of events, and human interest stories along with information that will make our newspaper well read.

I would like to ask all Department, District, and Post Officers on VFW, VFWA, MOC, and MOCA to support and distribute our newspaper.

Sincerely,

Mark Decker

Editor-in-Chief
